Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, catering to the educational needs of young learners.
- Create and maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Develop lesson plans that include interactive activities, hands-on experiences, and age-appropriate learning materials.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular assignments, tests, and observations, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, school staff, and parents to support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and special educational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Primary Education, or a related field (mandatory).
- Teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) is required.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- Familiarity with the UAE curriculum or an international curriculum (e.g., British, IB, or American).
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners’ academic and personal growth.
- Competence in using modern teaching aids, educational technology, and online platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and respect cultural diversity.
- A valid teaching license or approval from the UAE Ministry of Education is a plus.
