Primary School Teacher

Job Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, catering to the educational needs of young learners.
2. Create and maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
3. Develop lesson plans that include interactive activities, hands-on experiences, and age-appropriate learning materials.
4. Assess and monitor student progress through regular assignments, tests, and observations, providing feedback to students and parents.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking.
6. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
7. Collaborate with colleagues, school staff, and parents to support student learning and well-being.
8. Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
9. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and special educational needs.
10. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress reports.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Primary Education, or a related field (mandatory).
2. Teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) is required.
3. A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
4. Familiarity with the UAE curriculum or an international curriculum (e.g., British, IB, or American).
5. Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
6. Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
7. Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners’ academic and personal growth.
8. Competence in using modern teaching aids, educational technology, and online platforms.
9. Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and respect cultural diversity.
10. A valid teaching license or approval from the UAE Ministry of Education is a plus.
